At Camping Sunêlia La Clémentine, we are firmly committed to CSR. We rigorously follow the criteria of the Green Key Label. This means efficient water and energy management, waste reduction and support for local initiatives. In this way, we are contributing to a more sustainable world while offering our customers a quality experience that respects the environment.
We have drawn up a plan comprising 40 actions divided into 3 major commitments to enable us to improve our CSR approach:

Commitment No. 1 Responsible use of resources
Water management:
installation of water-saving devices for taps and showers.
Making campers aware of the importance of water conservation and responsible water use.
Energy:
Renew all lights in the park and switch to LED.
Encourage campers to reduce their energy consumption and use energy-efficient equipment.
Waste management:
Introduction of a selective waste sorting system with appropriate containers.
Organisation of awareness campaigns to encourage recycling and waste reduction.
Composting
Nature conservation:
Reduce the campsite's ecological footprint by protecting the surrounding natural areas.
Organisation of educational activities on local biodiversity and fragile ecosystems.
Commitment No. 2 Enhancing the surrounding natural landscape
Environmentally-friendly landscaping:
Use of local plants in the campsite's green spaces to encourage local biodiversity.
Avoidance of excessive construction to preserve the visual integrity of the landscape.
Promotion of sustainable tourism:
Collaboration with local nature conservation organisations to support conservation initiatives.
Partnership with the ONF for the maintenance and management of the park
Raising awareness of the need to preserve the landscape:
Display of information panels on the flora, fauna and geological features of the region.
Encouraging campers to respect environmental protection rules during their recreational activities.
Commitment no. 3: Everyone involved in responsible camping
Making campers more responsible:
Distribution of a responsible camping charter including guidelines for environmentally-friendly behaviour.
Provision of information and eco-gestures to make campers aware of their responsibilities during their stay.
Staff training:
Raising staff awareness of environmental issues and the importance of setting an example for campers.
Training in resource management and waste reduction practices.
Creation of an IT charter for staff.
Responsible selection of suppliers:
Favouring local suppliers and those who adhere to strict environmental standards.
Regular assessment of suppliers' environmental practices and encouragement of continuous improvement.
